Ranked by what the first year costs — the intro months, the ongoing months and any setup fee, on your own modem — lowest first; a tie goes to the faster evening speed, then the provider’s name. Leaves out fixed wireless, members’ prices, offers only for moving your number or bundling, and plans whose typical evening speed falls more than a tenth short of the speed they are sold as. Compares 29 providers, not the whole market.
