Comparison rates are based on a secured loan of $150,000 over 25 years. WARNING: This comparison rate is true only for the example given and may not include all fees and charges. Different terms, fees or other loan amounts might result in a different comparison rate.

Data
Each lender's Consumer Data Right (Open Banking) feed, read every night. A change is dated the day the new rate first showed in the feed. Announced rates come from the lender's own site.
What counts
The advertised rate for a new owner-occupier borrowing 80% of the property's value, paying principal and interest. The feed carries nothing on existing loans. A rate moved and moved back within a week is left out, and our own corrections are never a change.
Scope
Products listed on BankMate. "New" means new to our list, not always new to the market. Factual comparison, not financial advice.
