The average across 107 such loans was 6.76% (median 6.44%). Advertised variable rates averaged 6.67%, 2.32 points above the RBA cash rate of 4.35%. The lowest 2-year fixed rate was 6.04% from Up; the 2-year average of 7.00% sat 0.23 points above the variable average. The Big 4's lowest variable rates averaged 0.11 points above the market.
